Pierce Magnetics, for over 20 years, has distinguished itself as a highly reputable manufacturer of high quality, precision magnetic tape recording heads. We take pride in our strength working with customers from the initial stage of design, through prototype fabrication, to on line volume production.

Since 1990, due to technology changes, traditional reel to reel tape head usage is slowly disappearing. The new rising star is the low cost head for magnetic stripe card reader application.

Pierce Magnetics has worked with four magnetic head companies in China, utilizing Chinese low cost audio head fabrication technology. We have transferred our digital head design and application knowledge and control the product quality through our quality assurance system. We have successfully supplied high volume, high quality, low cost card reader heads to our domestic and international access control and P.O.S. customers. We recently added another magnetic head factory in Shanghai, China to our production force.

Pierce Magnetics has also established off-shore partners in plastic injection molding, metal stamping, and zinc and aluminum casting. Currently, we have provided customer designed plastic reader rail and metal stamping mounting accessory to our OEM customers.

Pierce Magnetics is ISO Certified 9002 manufacturer. We have completed the audit and received the certification in March 1999.
